Dumpster & debris
Waste removal that fits how your project actually goes
Need a container on the driveway for a few days — or just want piles hauled away? Same team either way. Request online; we confirm by phone.
Homeowner messes in Central Florida yards & renos
Remodels, cleanouts, storm weekends, and patio tear-outs leave the same problem: material that shouldn’t live in your garage or side yard. Most of our waste jobs are at houses — driveways, patios, and property piles — not commercial tear-downs.
You shouldn’t have to rent a truck, hunt for a dump, or spend a weekend loading it yourself. CLY handles the haul; you choose whether you need time on-site with a dumpster, a one-visit clear-out, or both.
Need a container — or just haul it away?
Two paths, one service family. Pick the path that matches your timeline; we’ll confirm the plan on the call.
- Dumpster rental when you’ll keep generating material — kitchen/bath remodel scrap, a multi-day cleanout, or a roof tear-off where debris shows up in waves. You get days to fill; we drop off and pick up.
- Debris haul-away when the mess is already piled and ready to leave — patio leftovers, storm limbs, fence scraps, or a one-time clear without a multi-day container on the driveway.
- Both when you want a dumpster for the main project and help loading leftover piles you don’t want to handle yourself.
You don’t have to decide alone. Describe the project and timeline online; we’ll recommend what fits when we call.
Dumpster rental: time on site to fill
Built for homeowners, not job-site fleets. Most of our dumpsters sit in driveways and side yards while people clear a garage, finish a remodel, or tidy the property. You keep the container for the days you need — we handle drop-off and haul-away so the mess doesn’t become a weekend of trips to the dump.
Rates stay flexible around how long you need it and what you’re loading. Exact pricing and timing are confirmed by phone after you order online.
Home projects that fill a dumpster
If any of these sound like your next few days (or weeks), a residential dumpster is usually the simplest path.
- Kitchen or bath remodel. Old cabinets, countertops, tile, drywall scraps, and the endless cardboard and packaging that show up mid-project — toss as you go instead of stacking it in the garage.
- Roof tear-off debris. Shingles, underlayment, and flashings add up fast. A container on site keeps the driveway workable while the roof crew works through the job.
- Estate cleanout. Clearing a house after a move, sale, or family transition — furniture, boxed goods, and the rooms that haven’t been touched in years.
- Garage or shed purge. Shelves of “someday” stuff, broken tools, leftover paint cans you’re not keeping, and the clutter that blocks the car from parking inside.
- Landscaping and yard waste. Brush piles, old fencing, patio tear-outs, dead sod, and the leftovers after a landscaping weekend.
- Room-by-room declutter. Attic, closet, or whole-home tidy-ups where you’re sorting keep/donate/toss over several days and need a place for the toss pile.
How multi-day rentals work
Think of it as a temporary hold for your project mess — not a one-afternoon drop-and-race.
- We drop it off. On the day we agree, we place the dumpster where you can load it safely — usually the driveway or another spot you point out on the call.
- You leave it and fill it. Load on your schedule across the rental window: evenings after work, weekends, or whenever the remodel crew is tossing scrap.
- You call when you’re done — or we pick up at the end. Finish early and we’ll schedule haul-away. Still loading when the window ends? We’ll talk through a short extension when we confirm rates by phone.
- Flexible windows, not a fleet clock. Rental length and timing are matched to your project during the confirmation call.
Choosing a size in plain language
You don’t need to know cubic yards by heart. Describe the project; we’ll match a container on the confirmation call. This is guidance — not a price list.
- Smaller cleanouts. A garage purge, one cluttered room, or a short declutter where you’re tossing bags, boxes, and a few bulky pieces.
- Typical remodel volume. Kitchen or bath tear-outs, flooring swaps, or a multi-room cleanout where cabinets, drywall, and packaging keep coming for several days. This is the most common homeowner size we discuss.
- Larger renovations and tear-offs. Roof tear-off debris, whole-home estate clear-outs, or major renovations that generate heavy, bulky scrap. We’ll talk access and weight when we call — heavier loads sometimes need a different plan than “just a bigger box.”
Photos of the driveway and a rough sense of what you’re tossing help us size correctly the first time. Rates vary with size, rental length, and load type — we’ll confirm those by phone (demo site; real rates are placeholders until production).
What typically belongs — and driveway tips
Think household and light remodel debris you can walk or wheel into the container. This is practical guidance for planning — not legal or hazardous-waste advice. Local rules can vary; we’ll flag concerns when we confirm by phone.
Usually fine to load: furniture, mattresses, boxed household goods; cabinets, flooring scraps, drywall, trim, packing materials; yard waste, brush, old fencing; general garage clutter that isn’t hazardous.
Usually keep out (ask us first): wet paint, solvents, oils, household chemicals; batteries, propane tanks; appliances with refrigerants; tires and electronics that many facilities handle separately.
- Pick a firm, accessible spot. Driveways are the usual choice. Soft lawn, steep slopes, and low tree limbs can make placement harder — mention those when you order.
- Leave room to open and load. Keep the approach clear of cars, boats, and trailers on delivery day.
- HOA and street rules. Some neighborhoods prefer containers fully on the driveway, or only for a set window. Start notices early if your HOA has a habit.
- Be a good neighbor. Load during reasonable hours, keep loose trash from blowing next door, and don’t overfill past the top rail.
- Central Florida weather. Afternoon storms are common. Cover loose light debris when you can, and don’t let water pool in bags of drywall or paper.
Debris haul-away: we clear the pile for you
When the mess is already sitting outside and you just want it gone, you don’t need a container parked for a week. Send a few photos and a short description — we’ll load and haul what’s ready to leave so the space opens up again.
No truck rental on your end, no dump run, no weekend of loading by yourself.
When homeowners usually call for haul-away
If any of these sound familiar, a debris cleanup quote is the right starting point.
- Patio or deck tear-out leftovers — broken pavers, old concrete chunks, wood scraps, and the odds and ends left after outdoor work
- Small renovation debris — cardboard, wrap, cut lumber, tile or drywall scraps from a room, garage, or addition project
- Storm yard mess — fallen limbs, brush piles, and the scatter that shows up after heavy weather
- Fence, shed, or play-set leftovers — panels, posts, and hardware you don’t want sitting in the yard
- General property piles — the “we’ll get to it later” stack on the side of the house that never quite goes away
We’re here to clear and haul — not to act as a commercial demolition contractor. Larger tear-downs are outside the usual homeowner job.
How they work together
Plenty of projects use both paths. A dumpster covers the days you’re still generating scrap; haul-away clears what’s already piled — or the leftovers you don’t want to load yourself once the remodel slows down.
- Dumpster first, cleanup later. Rent for the remodel or cleanout window, then ask us to clear side-yard leftovers when you’re done filling.
- Cleanup that turns into a dumpster. Sometimes photos show you’ll keep generating material — we’ll steer you to a container on the confirmation call.
- One request is enough. Choose “both” in the quote form (or say so in the details) and we’ll plan drop-off, pickup, and any crew loading in one conversation.
How requesting works
Online first, phone to lock it in. No backend checkout — we confirm everything personally before delivery or haul day.
- Request online. Choose dumpster, haul-away, or both. Tell us the project type, preferred dates, access, and what’s in the pile. Photos of the driveway, gate, or current mess help a lot.
- We confirm by phone. We’ll review size, rental length, what you’re loading (or what’s ready to haul), keep-out items, and timing — then lock the plan. This is when rates become real for your job.
- We show up as agreed. Dumpster: drop-off → you fill → we haul away. Haul-away: the crew loads what we agreed on and clears the area. Both: we coordinate container and crew so nothing gets left behind by accident.
We’ll call to confirm your appointment after you submit. Placeholder: (555) 010-2590
Common questions
HOA rules, keep-out items, and when a pile is enough without a multi-day container — plain answers for Central Florida homeowners.
Will my HOA allow a dumpster on the driveway?
Many Central Florida neighborhoods allow containers when they sit fully on the driveway and only for a set window — but rules vary. Start HOA notices early if your association has a habit of reviewing placements. On the confirmation call we’ll talk placement, rental length, and anything you’ve already heard from the board.
What should I not put in the dumpster?
Usually fine: furniture, mattresses, boxed household goods, cabinets, flooring scraps, drywall, yard waste, and general garage clutter. Usually keep out (ask us first): wet paint, solvents, oils, household chemicals, batteries, propane tanks, refrigerant appliances, tires, and electronics many facilities handle separately. This is practical planning guidance — not legal or hazardous-waste advice.
Pile vs dumpster — which should I choose?
Choose a dumpster when you’ll keep generating material over several days (remodel scrap, roof tear-off, multi-day cleanout). Choose haul-away when the mess is already piled and ready to leave in one visit. Choose both when you want a container for the main project plus help with leftover piles. Not sure? Describe the project online — we’ll recommend the fit on the call.
