What’s included: machine and operator
You’re not booking a bare rental. A typical visit includes the skid steer and someone who knows how to run it around homes — gates, soft lawn, fences, and parked cars included in the plan.
- Machine on site. Compact equipment suited to residential access — not a full-size dozer for a backyard job.
- Operator included. We handle the controls, the attachments we agree on, and the day-of decisions about how far to push the dirt or gravel.
- Scope confirmed by phone. Before we arrive, we lock in what ’done’ looks like so the visit stays focused on your yard or driveway — not open-ended site work.
Rough grading for yards, pads, and drainage
Uneven ground, soft low spots, and slopes that send water toward the house are common homeowner headaches. Rough grading reshapes the dirt so the yard, shed pad, patio area, or driveway approach sheds water the way you want — before grass, gravel, or a finished surface goes down.

A dumped pile in the driveway doesn’t place itself. We use the skid steer to move and spread dirt, topsoil, or mulch across beds, new lawn areas, and bare spots so you’re not wheelbarrowing all weekend.

Fresh rock on a driveway, path, or low drainage spot is hard to place evenly by hand. The skid steer moves and grades gravel so the surface is usable — not a mound you’ll be kicking into place for months.

Worn driveway or path surfaces with cracks, high spots, or loose edges often need a light pass before new gravel, asphalt, or a pad goes down. We help even things out and prep the surface — not full highway paving or heavy milling contracts.

- We show up ready. Operator and machine arrive, do the work we agreed on, and leave the area tidy for what comes next — seeding, landscaping, or simply a usable driveway.
